Excellent rally. It was very well organinzed and everyone seemed to be happy to get together to express our point of view. We generated a lot of honking horns with the march to downtown.

Gathered on University of Michigan campus. Heard great speeches from many union people, especially educators, and students. Marched downtown... heard lots of horn-honking of support.
We meet again April 13 in Lansing. Buses leave Ann Arbor 10:30 am.
No TV coverage.
Even the weather cooperated!

An incredible feeling of unity and solidarity. Many speakers and chants. Many speakers honoring Dr. ML King and what he stood for and how it relates to what we are standing for now.
